Sant Tukaram was a 17th-century Indian poet-saint from Maharashtra, India. He is considered one of the greatest Bhakti poets in the Marathi language. Tukaram’s poetry and teachings focused on devotion to Lord Vitthal (a form of Lord Krishna) and emphasized the importance of a personal relationship with God.
